ARP Rod Bolts - B & D-series (1.2-1.8L)

ARP 208-6001 Rod Bolts for 1.2-1.8L Acura & Honda 8mm OE Size. Commonly used for upgrading D15, D16, B18A, B18B, and B20 engines due to their small 8mm rod bolt size. If you are planning on going over 6400RPM, these are a must. This is one of the first steps in building a reliable LS-VTEC or B20 VTEC engine. NOTE: The ARP 208-6001 will NOT fit aftermarket rods.

ARP manufactures replacement rod bolts for many popular import and domestic Sport Compact engines that are made of premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and heat treated to a nominal tensile strength of 200,000 psi. Threads are rolled after heat treat to ensure optimum fatigue strength. They are far superior to OEM fasteners in terms of durability and service life – fully capable of handling the extra stress of high combustion pressure engines.
